Picnic Shelters

Shelter Rentals
• Small shelters accommodate about 30-35 people and cost $12.50 per session or $25 per day.
• Large shelters accommodate about 60-65 people and cost $20.00 per session or $40 per day.
• Session times: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• The only park allowing liquor with a permit is Moose Park, behind Moose Club.
• Liquor permit cost is $50. A refund of $25 will be given within the following week after site is inspected.
• No refunds are given on shelter reservations (even for inclement weather).
• 10 days notice is required for a change in reservations, and the charge is $5.00.

List of Shelters
• Roosevelt: Band Shell No. 1, Large Shelter No. 2, North Small Shelter No. 4, Metal South Small Shelter No. 5, Small Shelter -- Tennis Court No. 14, Gazebo.
• Oak: Band Shell No. 6, Nature's Prayer No. 7, North Small Shelter No. 9, West Loop Shelter No. 10, West Loop Shelter No. 11 (fairly close to the bathrooms), Playground Shelter No. 8 and South Shelter No. 15.
All shelters in Oak Park have electricity.

Other Shelters
• Polaris Park No. 12 (has baseball diamond and backstop), Moose Park No. 13 (only park that allows liquor), Jefferson (no restrooms), Riverside, Hammond, Leach, Radio City, 11th & 11th have bathrooms.

Additional Information
• All picnic shelter reservations must be made in person at the Minot Park District Office, 420-3rd Ave. SW. No reservations will be taken over the phone.
